The Bridgewater Inn’s Restaurant has a full-service Generator for those times when the power goes out. When that happens, join us for dinner or a causal time in the tavern. 

 The Bridgewater Inn is a unique destination offering a dining experience, lively entertainment, and comfortable on site lodging—all in one welcoming location. Our Dining Room features a diverse menu inspired by American, Japanese, and Italian cuisine. Guests enjoy everything from handcrafted appetizers and homemade Italian pasta to gourmet wood fired brick oven pizzas, Black Angus flame grilled steaks, fresh seafood, and our signature Japanese Fried Rice. We also proudly serve the chef’s specialty, Bulgogi, along with wraps, burgers, salads, and many other guest favorites.

 The BINN, our tavern, provides a relaxed atmosphere perfect for casual dining, drinks, and entertainment. With numerous TVs for sports viewing, weekend entertainment, free Wi Fi, and a variety of games—including KENO, pool, foosball, and darts—it’s a great place to unwind with friends and family. 

For guests looking to stay overnight, our on property motel offers six comfortable rooms equipped with individual heat and AC, cable TV, hair dryers, complimentary toiletries, bottled water, a refrigerator, clock radio, coffee maker, private bath, and pool. Their first business was a market in the South End of Concord, “Ordway’s Market”, where Soon-Jin use to bake fresh breads, muffins and bagels. He use to cut high end quality steaks and travel down to the docks for his fresh seafood to sell at our market. He introduced Ordway’s first fresh homemade subs, soups & chowders and pizzas. He later started cooking his Asian Fried Rice and Noodles and introduced hot subs. He also learned a new style of cooking called “Hibachi”, Japanese steal grill cooking.

 His passion grew for wanting to own his own restaurant. When his daughter and son were accepted into New Hampton School, Soon-Jin started looking for his next venture in the Newfound Area. He purchased the Bridgewater Inn in November of 2000. He introduced Tempura Shrimp, Wood fired Brick Oven Pizza, Homemade Pasta and the area’s first Japanese Steakhouse. He wanted to keep the main dining room American & Italian cuisine, with fresh pasta dishes, Black Angus steaks and the freshest seafood. He turned a small 4 season porch into Bridgewater Inn’s Japanese Steakhouse where he personally cooks in front of his guest on his teppanyaki table. 

His wife, Dianna, had prior experience in serving and bartending where she took those skills to running the front of the house. This husband and wife team are now in their 26th season with The Bridgewater Inn and still going strong. Their son, Justin has been a important part of the business, which he has been head line chief for 16 years now. Soon-Jin and Justin are some of the best chefs in the area, with both of them introducing great meal creations for their dining guest.

In the many years here, changes have been introduced…
2000 the creation of the Japanese steakhouse and the building of the Brick oven for the woodfired pizza. 
2004 the major addition was added which is now known as the sunroom (main dining room) and the pool room, in the Tavern.  
2007 the back deck was added which introduced outdoor dining.
2017 a roof was added to the back deck to help protect from the rain and the sun.
2019 a bar was added to the outdoor deck.

Our seasonal outdoor deck provides additional dining space with a comfortable, farm-style porch. Guests visiting our restaurant can enjoy fresh air while dining outside. The deck features:

• Flame deck heaters for cooler nights
• Roof coverage for sun or rain
• Mosquito control for comfort
• Keno and acoustic-style entertainment on select nights

During the season, guests can bring their dogs to the back deck area. Our restaurant offers dog bowls and treats, as well as a designated pet area. Seating is limited, so calling ahead is recommended.

Owners Soon-Jin, Dianna, and Justin invite guests to experience everything we have to offer. Chef Soon Jin spent over 21 years leading the Japanese Steakhouse and now works alongside his son Justin, overseeing the main kitchen operations.

Their shared passion for hospitality continues to shape the experience at our restaurant, where guests can always expect quality food, welcoming service, and a place that feels like home.
